Transition

This story of my painting is told through a theme of transition: the idea that moving between one realm of experience and another generates meaning.

In my exhibition at Watters in 2004 there were both figurative and abstract works. This is a synchronic reflection of my theme of transition (that is, two modes are present at the same time). More often in the past, the transition has happened over a period of time (diachronic transition).
