We developed the competency-writing skills of Bureau of Meteorology tropical cyclone forecasters in a four-day workshop in Darwin. The job competencies were for use in professional development programs.
In this project we helped lecturers at RMIT International Centre for Graphic Technology to develop online resources for the new Bachelor of Business in Graphic Technology. This included developing a navigational structure and template proformas for learning materials for use in Blackboard DLS, developing a Plain English style guide and developing sample learning activities.
We have produced several editions of a learning and development newsletter for the Emergency Management Australia Institute. We wrote and edited articles and designed the layout of the publication, which is available in PDF format on the EMA website.
